Rafael Garutti

I’m a Brazilian-Italian creative director based in Helsinki.

At EY I lead the Nordic creative function across four countries, turning a traditional design team into an AI-enabled, multidisciplinary creative organisation. Before that, I built the visual identity of Huawei Mobile Services in Europe from scratch.

Outside the day job, I keep making my own work: animation, illustration and small worlds that exist simply because I want them to. It’s the reason I got into this profession, and I don’t plan to lose it. The biggest one is Thunder Prince, which reimagines Ayrton Senna as an anime hero.
